The Story
Many people know that solar power is an increasingly affordable and effective renewable energy solution. The more solar panels installed, the more renewable energy you can generate. AIMS APAC REIT (AA REIT) is a large-scale real estate investment trust; they manage a lot of properties and these naturally come with a lot of rooftops. Recognising the importance and value of sustainable business practices, AA REIT partnered us to install solar panels across their properties.
The Solution
Our solution was to deploy and maintain a rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system across six of AIMS REIT’s industrial, logistics and warehouse properties in Singapore by December 2023. The 10.8 Megawatt-peak (MWp) combined solar PV system will be one of the largest rooftop solar installations by any Singapore-listed real estate investment trust. Comprising more than 20,000 rooftop solar panels across 5.2 hectares it can collectively produce 14,500 Megawatt-hours (MWh) of energy annually. This will help AA REIT to avoid over 5,900 tonnes of carbon emissions every year. A very bright future indeed.
